1.    Any person or group of persons in need of assistance in the form of adjunctive therapy with the participation of the animal has the right to do regardless of gender, race, religion or beliefs.
2.    Because of the nature of working with people with disabilities or unfit,  the therapist should characterize the maximum empathy, patience, kindness, tact and ability to build an atmosphere of mutual trust, and above all care for the observance of good manners in dealing with their charges and the establishments visited.
3.    The therapist should have knowledge in accordance with the requirements of training standards, which should always verify and complement, upgrading their skills. Their experience should be shared with others and willingly.
4.    The therapist should also avoid evaluating the work of others without any documented basis for it and know about cases of unreliability or unethical to share the proceedings in a manner respectful of the forums.
5.    Working in a team with a dog or other animal, therapist should specifically take care of his or her state of health, hygiene, appearance,  time and working conditions, regardless of training requirements. (See the ethical standards for dogs.)
6.    Therapist must take care of their image and dignity, not letting the situation work in conditions of insufficient or uncertain circumstances, and he absolutely observe sobriety (alcohol, drugs) in any situation of work-related and beyond.
7.    The therapist should observe the principles of cooperation with other leading specialists therapy (psychologist, psychiatrist, educator, speech therapist, etc.) as well as with their parents or guardians. Informing them of the details of the program used, its effects, all the experiments undertaken and changes in the program, and their request to enable them to attend sessions.
8.    The therapist should not lead classes in conditions that violate the dignity, downgrade the quality of their operations, as well as posing a risk to people participating in classes or therapy dog.
9.    The therapist are free to choose teaching methodology. There should keep up to date records of work with their charges.
10.    The therapist should observe the rules of professional secrecy, to obtain the appropriate permits and authorization for the use of images of the kids, or the provision of information about them.
11.    The overriding principle in all dealings should be a good pet.
